RENEW Partners just met in person for the first time at the 1st RENEW Project Meeting in Huelva, Spain.

Host of the day was the Project Coordinator Atlantic Copper, the third biggest copper producer in Europe.

Surrounded by the breath-taking landscape of the Marismas de l’Odiel natural reserve,  partners have been welcomed in the Atlantic Copper facilities. There, after a tour about the copper and the story of the company, partners could closely see some of the steps in the production of copper.
After this experience, the group is ready to start the activities for this very challenging project!
